Dejazmach Alemayehu Tewodros (23 April 1861 – 14 November 1879) was the son of Emperor Tewodros II of Ethiopia. Emperor Tewodros II committed suicide after his defeat by the British in 1868. His son Prince Alemayehu and his wife were taken by the British army, and while the Prince's mother died on the journey, the prince was appointed a guardian and sent to Rugby school in England. Prince Alemayehu died of pleurisy in 1879 at the age of 18. His remains lie in Britain.
