Commission launches site where jobseekers and employers connect

The Amhara region, in collaboration with the federal government, has launched a website aimed at connecting jobseekers and employers based on information gathered from the regional Science, Technology and Information Communication Commission. “The website holds necessary information about jobseekers, from housemaids to highest degree holders” says Abebe Getinet, E-government director of the Commission.

Abebe says that the platform will create a display,  where national and international employers have access to and hire the variety of human resources they are in need of, adding that “the current platform automates earlier efforts one such example can be brokering.”

“The system will help employee-employer connection and facilitate job creation”, the E-government director further went on clarifying. The Commission, through deputy commissioner Melaku Tilahun, has also told Addis Zeybe that it has launched Balanced Scorecard Automation as well as a gateway portal that hold 46 sites that are functioning in the region.

Addis Zeybe has learnt that information of jobseekers is being migrated to the system, and hosted at this website.
